Colada (PGK, G10)
Description
A compact and durable full tang field knife designed in collaboration with experts from the Russian knife forum, Bladesforum, including the renowned designer S. Barkov. The simple drop point blade with a dagger-style point and a high hollow grind is not overwhelming in size, but we bet you will find yourself using a blade of this exact length most often in the field. Originally, Kizlar Supreme released the Colada in three variants: with AUS-8, Bohler K340, and CPM S35VN steel. The knife sells so well that the manufacturer keeps releasing it in new material options. Here we offer the PGK steel version with black G10 handle scales.
The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the old traditions of Caucasian knife makers with the latest production technologies. Kizlar Supreme products are the result of the manual work of craftsmen who have been making knives for generations, except that today they have the most modern programmable machining centers and hardening furnaces at their disposal.
