Colada Elmax Cryo

The Colada is a compact and durable full-tang field knife designed in collaboration with experts from the Russian knife forum Bladesforum, including the well-known designer S. Barkov. The straight drop-point blade with a dagger-like tip and high hollow grind is not overwhelming in size, but I bet this is the exact blade length you will use most often in the field. Recently (2026), a material variant made of Elmax powder steel with secondary tempering was introduced – after the initial quenching, the blades are submerged in nitrogen vapors for additional hardening. The nominal hardness of these blades is 61-62 HRC, but in terms of wear resistance, they outperform blades rated at 62-63 HRC without cryogenic treatment. Kydex sheath, G10 handle scales.
