Description
Melita K company from Kazan (Tatarstan) is among the top Russian manufacturers of knives, including those classified as combat knives. The latter are made to order for the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation. Melita prides itself on using its own patented stainless steel (70X16МФС) surpassingother stainless steels in terms of hardness and flexibility. It also often uses camouflage coating on the blade.
Cobra is a skeleton knife (blade thickness up to 5.5 mm) hardened like other Melita knives to 52-56 HRC. The knife is sold complete with a leather sheath for belt carry.
