Cerberus elastron black
Description
A double-edged combat dagger with a leaf-shaped blade. One look is all it takes to see that this is a knife designed for combat, specifically for thrusting. The blade is blackened, double-edged, and dagger-style. It is made of AUS-8 steel with a hardness of 57-58 HRC. The handle is crafted from black Elastron and features a full, double-sided combat guard. In Russia, the Cerber holds the status of a combat knife and is only available to military personnel, hunters, and officers of law enforcement agencies, which is confirmed by the serial number located on the blade below the crossguard. Upon purchase, this number is entered into the owner's military service record book or service ID. The blade also features the manufacturer's hologram and the inscription "Кизляр сделано в России" (Kizlyar made in Russia), while the other side shows "Цербер" (Cerberus) and the manufacturer's logo. The knife comes with a leather sheath that includes a plastic insert and a silent fastener.
The Kizlyar company from Dagestan is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar prides itself on combining the old traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in blade weapon manufacturing with modern production technologies.
