Celtibero
Description
A full-tang field knife from the Spanish company Cuchilleria Forester. Celtibero can be purchased with sheaths in two variants: a more expensive leather one and a cheaper one made of cordura, with a plastic insert. Here we have a cheaper variant, but otherwise the knives are identical: a classic drop point blade with a partially flat cut, tang covers made of micarta. The end of the tang sticks out from the covers, you can hit it and attach a leash or wrist strap (there is a piece of paracord in the box for this). The blade is engraved with the J&V Adventure Knives emblem (trade brand of the Cuchilleria Forester factory), the inscription "Celtibero 2.0 Evolution" and the steel marking: MV-58.
Forester is one of the few old Spanish manufacturers that has resisted pressure to move production to China. The knives are still not only designed but also manufactured in the Forester factory in Albacete, Spain.
