Caucasian
Description
A small knife with a narrow blade designed in the style of Karachai knives (known as Bichaq), which are everyday utility knives carried by every Karachai male over the age of 10. The size of the Caucasian is tailored for a smaller, female hand, which, combined with its meticulous craftsmanship, moves it from the category of practical everyday tools to the sector of elegant gift knives. The slender, full flat grind blade is set in a wooden handle (dark hornbeam or wenge) with a decorative brass bolster. It comes with a Finnish-style sheath made of smooth black leather.
The blade is marked with the inscription "Кавказкий" and the manufacturer's logo. The other side features the inscription "KIZLYAR Сделано в России AUS-8" and a hologram. The blade hardness ranges from 57-59 HRC.
Kizlyar prides itself on combining the ancient traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in blade manufacturing with modern production technologies.
