Caspian D2
Description
Practical field full tang with black hornbeam handle covers. The blade has a bowie profile, but it's a sensible bowie. What I mean is that the depression of the spine towards the end of the blade runs in a very gentle arc, almost in a straight line and is spread over 10 cm of the length of the spine. The result is not a hooked, weakened tip, but a strong tip point with increased penetrating ability while maintaining a clearly marked curvature of the belly on the blade. Partial hollow grind, comfortable handle, slightly profiled for fingers on the bottom. As befits Kizlyar Supreme, Caspian is made in a full tang pattern. D2 steel with a hardness of 61 HRC. You can do anything in the field with such a knife. Finnish-type leather sheath, black. A knife is pleasing to every male eye, but in the USA it will appeal like nowhere else, after all, it is Jim Bowie's homeland, and his duel of a bowie knife against a spade still ignites the imagination of boys.
The Dagestan company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the old traditions of Caucasian knife manufacturers with the latest production technologies. Kizlyar Supreme products are the result of the work of craftsmen who have been making knives for generations, but today they have the most modern programmable machining centers and hardening furnaces.
