Carthaginian green
Description
A universal pocket knife with a full flat grind in a multi-positional kapron holster. The ten-centimeter blade will cope with most tasks in the field. The handle is 13 cm long, and the covers are made of green micarta profiled to ensure a good grip. There is a liner lock, but like many Forester folding knives, the Carthaginian has the option of additional "stiffening": at the end of the handle on the blade side there is a hole through which a locking element in the form of a short cylinder can be inserted (the largest pocket knives of this company, such as Tytan, Raptor or Reaper, have such elements included, but the Cartaginian does not have it). With the use of such an additional lock, the pocket knife practically becomes a knife with a fixed blade. Stainless steel MV-58 with a hardness of 58 HRC. This knife will surely meet any challenge. The blade is engraved with the J&V Adventure Knives emblem (trade brand of the Cuchilleria Forester factory), the inscription "CARTAGO", a hoplite figurine and the steel brand marking. The kapron sheath, closed with a snap button, has a rotating clip instead of a belt loop, so it can be worn on a belt in any position.
Forester is one of the few old Spanish manufacturers that has resisted pressure to move production to China. The knives are still not only designed but also manufactured in the Forester factory in Albacete, Spain.
