Butterfly 2255 (pattern welded damascus)
Description
A very nice butterfly knife made of 73-layer Chinese Damascus steel, designed by Martinez Albainox. It features a high hollow grind and wooden handle scales.
Martinez Albainox was once one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives, grouped into several registered model lines, but has moved almost all of its production to China. However, these are still branded products, which means their quality is consistently maintained. In this arrangement, the place of production is no longer a disadvantage but becomes an advantage, as it allows for an excellent price-to-quality ratio. The knives are made from Chinese industrial steels and Chinese forged Damascus steel. The exact composition of the steel layers is not specified, and the declared hardness is 57-58 HRC.
