Butcher
Description
A heavy full tang knife made of forge-welded Pakistani Damascus steel (prone to corrosion). The blade profile resembles a chef's knife, but it is actually a heavy-duty field cleaver. The blade, as is typical for Pakistani Damascus, is very thick, measuring 4 mm at the spine. It features a low hollow grind and decorative filework on the spine. There is no guard, but the very wide blade near the handle has a dull finger choil, which prevents the hand from slipping onto the cutting edge. The tang scales are made of dyed camel bone, with a massive Damascus steel bolster. The sheath is a smooth, slip-in, Finnish-style leather sheath. The knife weighs 398 g without the sheath.
