Buran (U8 steel)
Description
A heavy knife from the Siomina survival knife line, made in Novgorod. Made of soft (54-56 HRC) carbon steel (corrosive) U8 according to the full tang scheme. The handle has wooden scales (wenge wood fastened to the tang with two screws), at the end there is a hole allowing for a wrist loop. At the base of the blade there is the manufacturer's logo with the inscription "Ручная работа"сталь У8". A wide blade with an original grind, with a clearly marked point allows for stabbing. On the butt, 3 cm from the end of the tang, an 8 cm long saw begins. Like all IP Siomina products, the knife has a very aesthetic sheath made of brown leather with decorative embossing.
