Description
Solid tactical knife from the Spanish manufacturer Cudeman. The knife has an immense margin of durability: full-tang configuration, 5 mm thickness at the spine, and a partial hollow grind. The blade thickness at the spine is astonishing—5 mm. Among knives of this length, it is comparable only to the Russian Combat from Kizlyar Supreme. Weighing a total of 340 g—the Russians would make two field knives of this size out of that much metal. Recurve-type blade profile with a wave-shaped cutting edge. This is one of the few Cudeman models to feature Bohler N695 steel with a hardness of 59-60 HRC as the blade material. The Cudeman company logo (an elephant's head) and the inscription "CUDEMAN STAINLESS STEEL Made in Spain" are visible on the blade, and right under the handle: "N-695 Bohler" and "BV-CADETE". Micarta tang scales fastened with three screws, with the end of the tang featuring lanyard holes or a wrist-strap loop. The knife is sold with a black kydex sheath and a Tek-Lok type mount.
The Cudeman company is a renowned knife manufacturer from the Spanish "knife-making hub" of the Albacete region. A company with traditions, it is one of the few European manufacturers still resisting the pressure of Chinese competition.
