Boatsman big
Description
A large sailors knife made of high-quality stainless steel. The blade has a classic sheepsfoot profile – a straight cutting edge, a back with a steep slope towards the rounded tip. This shape is often used in rescue knives to minimize the risk of injuring someone when quickly cutting clothing. A massive spike for untangling knots. G10 handle scales. At the end of the handle there is an eyelet for attaching a lanyard. Both blades have locks. Additionally, the knife has an awl-spike 85 mm long. A black, nylon belt sheath, closed with Velcro.
The Bosmanskiy is a copy of a knife that was included in the sets placed on rescue equipment (boats, rafts, capsules with self-inflating rafts) of the USSR Navy ships.
