Black Bear (black micarta handle)
Description
A medium-sized bushcraft knife in a full tang design with a full flat grind from the Spanish company Cuchilleria Forester. Wide (36 mm) drop point blade, 5 mm thick, with a full flat grind. Micarta tang scales. The blade is engraved with the J&V Adventure Knives emblem (trade brand of the Cuchilleria Forester factory), the inscription "Black Bear Handwork in Spain" and the steel marking: MV-58 (Spanish stainless steel similar in terms of corrosion resistance and hardness). Sturdy two-position leather sheath with silent clasp.
Forester is one of the few old Spanish manufacturers that has resisted pressure to move production to China. The knives are still not only designed but also manufactured in the Forester factory in Albacete, Spain.
