Berkut (laminated steel)
Description
A knife with a layered, forged blade. The core is 9XC steel, oxide-coated and nickel-clad. Its white threads (the red "snake" closest to the cutting edge is also nickel) have aesthetic value and also increase the blade's flexibility.The folding handle is made of pieces of stabilized wood (Karelian birch) separated by white rings of organic glass. On both sides, the handle is finished with melchior castings. The sheath is leather, slip-in, of the Finnish type, with decorative embossing.
