Bear Claw
Description
Small hunting blade in a push dagger configuration with a rubber grip. Like most small push daggers, it can be carried daily even in the city without drawing attention, but the Bear Claw blade profile indicates that this is not an urban push dagger, but unambiguously a hunting one. An urban knife would have 2-2.5 mm at the spine, whereas here the blade is 3.8 mm thick, despite a partial hollow grind. Furthermore, the blade features a gut hook characteristic of skinning blades, used for slicing through abdominal walls. The blade material is Spanish molybdenum-vanadium steel with a hardness of 54-56 HRC. Leather pouch with a belt loop and a snap fastener closure.
The Cudeman company is a renowned knife manufacturer from the Spanish "knife-making hub" of the Albacete region. A company with traditions, it is one of the few European manufacturers still resisting the pressure of Chinese competition.
