Bayonet K25 green handle

Military bayonet in full tang design, with a rigid sheath and a whetstone included. The handle, i.e. the covers of the Tang, is made of green aluminum. A typical military blade with a clip point profile, with a double-row ball on the back, covered with a titanium coating. Together with the sheath, the knife forms a wire cutter. The whetstone is glued to the back of the sheath, normally hidden under the straps of the kapron frog. The disadvantage of this knife is its considerable weight: the knife itself is 472 gr, together with the sheath - 743 gr. The K25 brand belongs to the Spanish company Martinez Albainox, once one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives, grouped into several registered model lines, but has moved almost all production to China. However, these are still branded products, which means that there is someone who cares about their quality. In such a system, the place of production ceases to be a disadvantage and becomes an advantage, because it allows us to offer an excellent price-quality ratio. Albainox knives are mostly made from Chinese industrial steels, in this particular case from Cr17MoV, which can be a great steel, close to D2 in terms of characteristics, or a worthless crap like the cheap no-name products from AliExpress.
