The Baikal model with a black handle, complete with a Kydex sheath instead of the old leather one. There are no changes to the knife itself: a reasonably sized blade with a high grind and a swedge on the spine resembling a saber point. Like most Kizlyar Supreme knives, the Baikal is a full tang construction with G10 scales. The scales are covered with grip-enhancing texturing reminiscent of the checkering on rifle stocks.

The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the old traditions of Caucasian knifemakers with the latest production technologies.
