Description
A solid field knife from the Spanish company Cuchilleria Forester. Wide (35 mm) drop point blade, 5 mm thick, with a full flat grind. Micarta tang scales. The blade is engraved with the J&V Adventure Knives emblem (trademark of the Cuchilleria Forester factory), the inscription "BS-9 Handwork in Spain" and the steel marking: MV-58 (Spanish stainless steel similar in terms of corrosion resistance and hardness (57-59 HRC) to AUS-8). Solid leather sheath with double snap button fastening.
Forester is one of the few old Spanish manufacturers that has resisted pressure to move production to China. The knives are still not only designed but also manufactured in the Forester factory in Albacete, Spain.
