Heavy (650 gr with sheath) survival knife of the Spanish army. Full tang with micarta handle covers, used by the special operations unit (La Bandera de Operaciones Especiales de la Legión) of the Spanish Foreign Legion known as Legion Tercio.The emblems visible on the blade include the unit's badge (a knife with a laurel wreath superimposed on the sign of the Tercio Legion - a crossed crossbow, musket and halberd) and a Burgundian cross. If you are looking for one word that can characterize Cuchilleria Forester knives, it is "durability" and BOEL MOEL is a great example of this. The full tang pattern with a thickness of 5 mm on the spine and a low hollow grind, which means that this thickness is maintained on most of the blade, gives so much strength that you can do anything with it. Drop point profile with a wave-shaped cutting edge and the blade extending towards the point. The serrated part of the blade directly under the handle makes it easier to cut lines, fishing lines or nylon nets. In the place where the tang turns into the blade, there are protrusions on both sides that provide support for the fingers, always useful, but a must when pushing. The end of the tang protruding from the handle covers has serrations that facilitate the use of the fire starter. Thick leather sheath, with a pocket for (probably) a sharpener, which is not included in the set. It has a loop for wearing on a wide military belt, but it can also be easily attached to carrying systems or items of equipment. Stainless steel MV-58 with a hardness of 58 HRC.

On the blade there is an inscription "B.O.E.L. Operaciones Especiales España"", the J&V Adventure Knives logo (trading brand of the Cuchilleria Forester factory) and the two above-mentioned emblems. The Forester company is one of the few old Spanish manufacturers that resisted the pressure to move production to China. The knives are still not only designed but also manufactured in the factory in Albacete, Spain.
