A tourist knife with a polished H12MF steel blade, clearly inspired by iconic models included in the aviation crew rescue kits. Similar knives were and are used in the US military aviation and are certainly not unfamiliar to pilots of other countries. In the Soviet army, similar knives were included in aviation rescue kits (so-calledemergency supply).Knives could differ depending on the kit type (NAZ-6, NAZ-7, NAZ-I). The most popular were penknives with two blades – a main blade and a saw (American knives of this type also always have a saw).
The knife has a 114-millimeter drop point blade with a saw on the butt. Partially concave grind. At the base of the blade under the handle is the manufacturer's monogram and inscription:"Okskiye Nozhi steel H12MF". The handle is made of hornbeam and finished with nickel silver fittings.
