Asket N690 (Kydex sheath)
Description
The Asket is a small field knife with a full tang construction and a Bowie-style blade. In this version, the G10 handle scales are not bright orange like in the previous model, but black and red. The grind remains unchanged (high flat grind), with a stonewash finish. Corrosion-resistant Bohler N690 steel, hardened to 60-62 HRC. The most significant change is the black multi-position Kydex sheath, replacing the standard leather one.
The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of the few Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the ancient traditions of Caucasian knife makers with the latest production technologies. Kizlyar Supreme products are the result of work by artisans who have been making knives for generations, but who now utilize state-of-the-art programmable machining centers and hardening furnaces.
