Asgard
Description
New heavy knife NOKS according to the project of Alexander Biriukov. For the first time, it makes us question the rationality of Russian norms determining what is white (firearm) and what is not (exemption). Asgard is not considered as a firearm, despite having a stab-shaped blade designed for thrusts, a five-millimeter broad blade in terms of durability would be enough to pop even the bayonet, and the handle is separated from the blade by a genuine, albeit single-sided, guard. The name Asgard sounds nice but the blade profile makes references to Norse mythology an inappropriate. The blade of this knife has a cutting edge in the shape of a falling wave that runs from the top of the blade to the bottom, similar to eastern yataghan, the roots of which date back to machaira type swords. From machaira to Asgard, it's a world apart. (Similar to a difference between) a shashka (Caucasus knife) and Tenochtitlan.
