Arrow (leather handle)
Description
A very lightweight field knife manufactured by Zlatoust, made of 95x18 stainless steel. The handle (bark rings mounted on a metal shank) combined with a narrow blade makes the knife as light as a feather. At the end of the handle there is a hole allowing for attaching a lanyard or wrist loop. The blade with a high concave grind, flat back and sharply pointed, piercing point resembles the blade profile of Amiga knives – another popular model of this manufacturer. Under the handle on the blade, the inscription:Росоружие Златоуст", the manufacturer's logo and the steel grade marking according to the Russian nomenclature (95x18). Leather sheath, black, with the embossed manufacturer's logo and inscriptionЗлатоустon the belt loop.
Zlatoust is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. It boasts a several-hundred-year-old tradition in the field of edged weapon production.
