Description

Bowie-type hunting knife from the Spanish Cudeman factory. Slightly shorter than the JBK model from the same manufacturer and 150 g lighter, but it will still perform excellently in the field as a cleaver and a machete. The full-tang configuration (push-tang assembly is very rarely encountered in Spanish hunting knives) is optimal for a knife intended more for chopping than thrusting. Partial hollow grind. The spine near the tip is ground down into a swedge. The blade material is Spanish molybdenum-vanadium steel with a hardness of 54-56 HRC. Visible on the blade are the Cudeman company logo (an elephant's head), the inscription "CUDEMAN MOLIBDENO VANADIO Made in Spain Apache", and the profile of a Native American chief in a headdress. The Apache is featured in our product range in two variants: with micarta handle scales and with so-called red stamina wood (a composite material with the appearance of natural wood, consisting of thin layers of natural wood that are dyed, impregnated with synthetic resins, and pressed under high pressure). Solid brown leather sheath with an embossed elephant's head.

The Cudeman company is a renowned knife manufacturer from the Spanish "knife-making hub" of the Albacete region. A company with traditions, it is one of the few European manufacturers still resisting the pressure of Chinese competition.
