Amur (pattern welded damascus, stabilized wood handle)
Description
A beautiful knife with an ornamented Damascus steel blade and a handle made of stabilized wood. The blade, with a trailing point profile (the knife tip raised above the back line), is divided into two parts by two grooves running along the blade, so-called "fullers". The part of the blade above the fullers has a forged pattern resembling the texture of stone tools. This finishing style is called "Stone Age" and is used by Russian manufacturers to emphasize the handmade nature of the production.A monogram of the manufacturer and an inscription are engraved under the handle:"ОКСКИЕ НОЖИ ДАМАССКАЯ СТАЛЬ"A beautiful handle made of stabilized Karelian birch, finished on both sides with nickel silver castings – a wolf-shaped head and a pommel.
