Amur-2
Description
A solid knife by the renowned Dagestani company Kizlyar with a non-slip Elastron G handle. It features a drop-point blade with a partial hollow grind and a slightly ground spine near the tip. The cutting edge has a wave-like shape with a minimal curve. At the base of the blade, beneath the handle, it is marked with "Амур-2" and the manufacturer's logo. The other side is marked in the same place with "КИЗЛЯР Сделано в России AUS-8" and a hologram. The leather sheath includes a plastic insert and a silent fastener. The AUS-8 steel is hardened to 57-59 HRC.
The Kizlyar company from Dagestan is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known beyond Russia's borders. Kizlyar prides itself on combining the ancient traditions of Caucasian craftsmen, who specialized in making bladed weapons, with new production technologies.
