Amigo (95x18 steel, leather handle, duralumin castings)
Description
A lightweight hunting knife manufactured by Zlatoust, made of very good 95x18 stainless steel. Hardness 56-58 HRC. The knife is very graceful and light, despite the metal fittings. The handle is made of leather (leather rings mounted on a metal shank) and ends with a pommel on one side and an aluminium head on the other. The head has a hole for attaching a lanyard or wrist loop. The blade has a straight back with a very slight drop towards the point. Under the handle, on the blade, there is an inscription: "Rosoruzhie Zlatoust", the manufacturer's logo and the steel mark95x18. Leather sheath, black, with the manufacturer's logo and inscription embossed on the belt loopZlatoust.
Zlatoust is one of several Russian knife manufacturers known widely outside of Russia. It boasts a centuries-old tradition in the production of edged weapons.
