Albainox 18746 (pattern welded damascus)
Description
A small pocket knife made of forged damascus from Martinez Albainox. Short (8 cm) drop point blade with a partial flat grind. Blade and bolster made of forged damascus (312 layers) with a beautiful small pattern. There is no holster or clip.
The Martinez Albainox company was one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives, grouped into several registered model lines, but has moved almost all production to China. However, these are still branded products, which means that there is someone who cares about their quality. In such a system, the place of production ceases to be a disadvantage and becomes an advantage, because it allows us to offer an excellent price-quality ratio. Albainox damasts are also made in China, they have 67 layers as standard. The components of the package are unknown (although it can be seen with the naked eye that there must be nickel there), and the declared hardness is 57-58 HRC.
