Alaska
Description
A set of two hunting knives in a single sheath. The set consists of a massive (340 g) cleaver with a blade thickness of 4.8 mm and a low flat grind. It is complemented by a short, full-tang backup knife (Mini Alaska) featuring a bowie-style profile, which provides a very aggressive point for such a short blade. The blade material for both knives is Spanish molybdenum-vanadium steel with a hardness of 54-56 HRC (the commercial designation for this steel is ACX-380). A shared leather sheath for belt carry.
The Cudeman company is a renowned knife manufacturer from the Spanish "knife-making hub" of the Albacete region. A company with traditions, it is one of the few European manufacturers still resisting the pressure of Chinese competition.
