Description

A knife from the series of Caucasian everyday carry knives featuring straight blades with traditional elements from various Caucasian nationalities. The straight blade has a full flat grind and is made of AUS-8 steel. The bolster, pommel, and rings on the handle are made of brass. The handle wood is black hornbeam. Similar to the Botlich and Karachaevsky knives, the handle has a round cross-section and transitions into the blade without a guard. Consequently, all these knives have similar sheaths, which are slip-in, Finnish-style, with wooden inserts. The leather on the sheaths is very thin, soft like in women's gloves, and too delicate for a knife sheath. In general, all Kizlyar knives based on traditional Caucasian designs are very carefully crafted but appear as if they were meant to be worn with national costumes on stage or at a party, rather than in the field. At the base of the blade, there is the manufacturer's logo, the inscription "KIZLYAR Сделано в России" and a hologram.

Kizlyar prides itself on combining the ancient traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in cold weapons with new production technologies.
