Uyghur folding knife 1 (silver, sadaf)
Description
The Pchak (from the Uzbek word Pichoq – knife) is a traditional knife of the Uzbeks and Uyghurs, widespread with minor variations throughout Central Asia. Fixed-blade Pchaks are available in a separate category in our store. This particular folding knife is a subtype of Uyghur folding knives featuring a blade with a partial hollow grind, made of high-hardness (50-55 HRC) ШХ15 tool steel (Polish equivalent LH15). The richly decorated handle (silver with mother-of-pearl) is referred to as a "crescent moon" due to its shape. The inscription on the blade is in Farsi (Persian language). The first word means "city," the second is the name of a city, a toponym. The blade does not have a lock to prevent it from folding.
