Sturm mini M390
Description
A tiny everyday carry blade in the form of a miniature, skeletonized version of the Sturm knife. The tactical Sturm knives were commissioned by customers in Germany, where there are restrictions on carrying knives with a blade length exceeding 12 cm. The Sturm Mini is a miniature, skeletonized version of this knife, although its size makes it more of a gadget than a tool. Previously, these types of novelty items from Kizlyar Supreme came with leather sheaths with holes that allowed them to be sewn onto a lining or worn around the neck. In more recent, expensive variants, the leather sheath has been replaced with a Kydex sheath that offers the same functionality but is, in my opinion, more aesthetically pleasing.
High-quality Bohler M390 powder steel with a hardness of 62 HRC.
The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining ancient traditions of Caucasian knife makers with the latest production technologies. Kizlyar Supreme products are the result of the manual work of craftsmen who have been making knives for generations, except today they have the most modern programmable machining centers and hardening furnaces at their disposal.
