Description
Pocket knife made of Pakistani pattern-welded Damascus steel in a leather pouch with an attached sharpening rod. Drop point blade with a partial hollow grind. Damascus steel without added chromium, therefore prone to corrosion. In this model, as with most Pakistani folding knives, the blade cannot be flipped open with a flick of the wrist (when I tried doing that in Lahore, the locals looked at me like I was an idiot). It should be opened using both hands. Decorative handle featuring a massive stainless steel bolster and pommel with wooden handle scales in the middle. The wood is not just any wood, but exotic zebrawood sourced from African trees, characterized by its distinctive striped grain pattern. It lacks any type of locking mechanism to prevent accidental folding. The liners/internal frame are made of brass. The metal spine of the handle is decorated with a filed pattern. The knife is sold with a leather pouch featuring a flap cover with a snap fastener closure. Weight without pouch: 242 gr.
