Bizon Cleaver
Description
A compact field meat cleaver from Kizlyar. It features an AUS-8 steel blade with a stonewash finish. The blade has a partial flat grind. The tang is overmolded with Elastron and has a lanyard hole at the very end of the handle. The blade is marked with a hologram confirming its authenticity as a Kizlyar product, the manufacturer's logo, and the inscription: "AUS-8 Кизляр Сделано в России". The other side features "Бизон" and the manufacturer's logo. It comes with a leather sheath for belt carry.
The Kizlyar company from Dagestan is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar prides itself on combining the ancient traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in blade manufacturing with modern production technologies.
