Bison
Description
Full-tang knife with a wide D2 steel blade and a highly aesthetic handle. A wave-shaped cutting edge with a low hollow grind. At the end of the handle, on the cutting edge side, there is a sharp triangular protrusion of the tang that functions as a guard. Right behind this protrusion is a deep ricasso for the index finger, allowing the knife to be gripped in such a way that the index finger fits into the ricasso while the thumb rests on the spine right past the handle, facilitating precise knife handling. This ricasso has a drawback as it catches on the sheath, making a quick draw difficult. The massive tang, additionally weighted with metal overlays on the pommel, significantly shifts the center of gravity towards the handle. The beautiful rosewood tang scales attract attention, featuring inserts made of lighter walnut in the shapes of a bison and an eagle. Plain leather sheath with a snap fastener closure.
