Bear (birch bark handle)
Description
Field knife manufactured by Zlatoust, made of 95x18 steel. The long, massive blade (21 cm long and 5 mm thick at the back) with a partial hollow grind and an 8-centimeter saw at the head fully justifies its name. The spine is straight, with a point ground down to a false edge. At the base of the blade, under the handle, there is an inscription: "Росоружие Златоуст" and the manufacturer's logo. Steel marking visible at the very base of the blade: 95x18. The handle is made of birch bark rings, finished with pieces of textolite on both sides. There is a hole at the end of the handle that allows you to attach a lanyard or wrist loop. Leather sheath, black, with the manufacturer's logo and name embossed on the belt loop.
The Zlatoust company is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside Russia. It boasts several hundred years of tradition in the production of cold weapons.
