Amigo (stabilized karelian birch handle, duralumin fittings, gilding)
Description
A hunting knife made of very good 95x18 stainless steel (hardness 57-58 HRC) by the Zlatoust company. The knife is very hand-like and light, despite the metal fittings. The handle made of stabilized Karelian birch (one of the most expensive types of stabilized wood) with a jute cord on one side and a duraluminium knob on the other side, contains a hole to hang the knife or attach a lanyard to the wrist. The blade has a simple ridge with a very small angle towards the blade tip. Under the handle, on the blade, a written inscription: "Златоуст Росоружие", logo of the manufacturer and marking of the steel95x18. The reverse side of the blade is decorated with a gilded galvanic drawing of hunting motifs. The sheath is made of black leather, with the embroidered logo of the manufacturer and the inscription "Златоуст Росоружие".
Company Zlatoust is one of a few Russian knife makers known far beyond Russia's borders. They pride themselves on a several hundred-year tradition in making white arms.
