Description
A pair of ram horn scales. Please note that the scales are not flattened, meaning the surface that adheres to the tang is not perfectly flat but has an arched shape. They can be flattened in two ways: by soaking/boiling them (will stink as hell) and then pressing them flat until dry, or by grinding inner surface flat. Both methods have their pros and cons. I will not elaborate further as I am not a knifemaker, I just want to point out this issue for customers who are as inexperienced as I am.
