Description
A pair of ironwood scales. This name refers to many species of trees with exceptionally hard and durable wood, which is an excellent material for knife handles. They come from various countries but mainly from tropical and subtropical regions. The scales offered here come from Pakistan, so it is most likely Persian ironwood (Parrotia persica).
