Description
Convex scales made of dyed camel bone with dimensions of 134 x 44 x 11 (at the thickest point) mm. The convex sides of the bone pieces are grooved with carved patterns. The undersides are roughly, but not perfectly, flat, so they require a flexible liner (spacer) between the knife tang and the bone itself. The grooved scales are massive and are suitable not only for knives but also for full tang hatchets. In addition to their aesthetic value, they provide a more secure grip than smooth scales, both with a bare hand and in a glove.
