stainless bulat: Sudak
Description
Modern Russian manufacturers strive to produce knives from a material as close as possible to historical, i.e., carbon, bulat steel. Since the steel thus obtained is susceptible to corrosion, Russian smiths sometimes add chromium to it, and what results is called "stainless bulat".
This category includes knives from the Zbanow forge, also known as the "Bulatnyj Nozh" company. Stainless bulat knives from Zbanow are hardened in such a way that the hardness on the cutting edge is slightly (approx. 2 HRC) higher than on the butt.
"Jeżyk" is a small blade with a full flat grind.
