Description
A blade made of so-called pattern-welded Damascus. Such blades are created by repeatedly forge welding a packet of steels with different carbon content. This process results in blades with a characteristic pattern. They are not resistant to corrosion. This blade originates from Lahore in Punjab (Pakistan). It would be perfectly suited for a knife maintained in the Caucasian-Ottoman tradition. The blade features flat grinds, extending from the middle of its width to the cutting edge and to the false edge (unsharpened) on the spine. Forged, sharpened, 58-61 HRC.
