Description

A blade made of so called pattern welded damascus. Such blades are created by repeatedly forge welding together a packet of steels with different carbon content. In this process, blades with a characteristic pattern are created. These are not corrosion resistant. This blade comes from Pakistan from a highly reputable craftsmen from Wazirabad who produce knives according to old technologies. The components of the packet are AISI 4340 and high carbon 1095. Steel 4340 as an alloy additive contains (besides manganese, nickel and molybdenum) chromium at a level of 0.70-0.90%, but the blades still remain susceptible to corrosion.
Stinger is a blade that will be suitable for a short, elegant concealed carry knife. You can also conjure a sizable push dagger from it, but for that the tang needs to be minimally shortened. Forged, 58-61 HRC. The blade is sharpened.
