Pattern-welded damascus blade. A blade made of forge-welded Damascus steel. Such blades are created by repeatedly forge-welding together a billet of steels with different carbon content. This process creates blades with a characteristic pattern. They are not corrosion resistant. This blade comes from Lahore, Punjab (Pakistan). Designed for an Eastern, yataghan-style knife with a low grind. Forged, sharpened, 58-61 HRC.
