pattern welded damascus: Brutus (stone age)
Description
A blade made of so-called welded Damascus steel. Such blades are created by repeatedly welding together a packet of steel with varying carbon content. This process creates blades with a characteristic pattern. They are not corrosion-resistant. Forged, 59-62 HRC. The blade is divided into two parts by a horizontal groove, curved downwards near the handle. Above this line (this is the so-calledbottom) the surface of the blade resembles a chipped stone. This decorative finish of the blade, quite laborious, is called the Stone Age by Russian craftsmen.
