Tomahawk K25
Description
Tomahawk designed by the Spanish company Martinez Albainox. It is a 5 mm thick stainless steel monolith with titanium coating. Handle covers made of polymer resistant to external factors such as temperature and moisture. A cool idea is to secure the hand with a cordura strap on elastic cords, partially replacing the wrist brace (the same is used in the Elephas machete). The grinding of the cutting edge is concave. Weight without sheath 617 gr, with sheath – 674 gr.
The K25 brand belongs to the Spanish company Martinez Albainox, once one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives, grouped into several registered model lines, but has moved almost all production to China. However, these are still branded products, which means that there is someone who cares about their quality. In such a system, the place of production ceases to be a disadvantage and becomes an advantage, because it allows us to offer an excellent price-quality ratio. Albainox knives are mostly made of Chinese industrial steel, in this particular case 7Cr17MoV, which can be a great steel, close to D2 in terms of characteristics, or a worthless piece of crap like in cheap no-name products from AliExpress.
