The K25 brand belongs to the Spanish company Martinez Albainox, once one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives grouped into several registered model lines but has moved almost all of its production to China. However, these are still branded products, which means their quality is maintained. In this arrangement, the place of production ceases to be a disadvantage and becomes an advantage, as it allows for an excellent price-to-quality ratio. Albainox knives are mostly made from Chinese industrial steels, in this specific case 7Cr17MoV, which can be an excellent steel with characteristics similar to D2, or worthless junk like in cheap no-name products from AliExpress.
