The entire set is mounted on a base that ensures a firm grip on the table.
How to use water stones:
Before use, soak the stones in water for about 15 minutes. The stone is properly soaked when water poured on it does not absorb immediately but remains on the surface.
Use the entire surface of the stone to avoid uneven wear, periodically applying water. The stone must remain wet at all times.
After sharpening, level the stone's surface with a diamond plate or a much coarser stone.
