Description
A folding field saw featuring interchangeable blades made of high-carbon steel: one black-coated blade for wood, and a satin-finished, finer-toothed blade for bone. It features a rubber handle and comes complete with a black cordura sheath.
The product was designed by SOG (SOG Specialty Knives & Tools), a company specializing in military, tactical, and survival knives. The company's name pays homage to the elite special operations unit that operated during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1972 (Studies and Observations Group). Originally an American company, SOG was acquired in 2021 by the GSM Outdoors corporation, which also owns brands like Cold Steel. Production has been entirely moved to China, Taiwan, and Japan.
